Yoo Hyun-Jae (Yoon Si-Yoon) is a member of a popular idol group. He has a lot of fans and he is a scandal maker. Meanwhile, Lee Ji-Hoon (Kim Min-Jae) is an aspiring singer. He pretends to be studying for his civil servant exam, but he is actually struggling to become an idol.

Actor Cha Tae-Hyun directs for the first time and Yoo Ho-Jin directs a drama series for the first time.
Yoo Ho-Jin is a former director in KBS2 reality-variety TV show "2 Days & 1 Night." Yoon Si-Yoon and Cha Tae-Hyun are regular cast members in "2 Days & 1 Night" and have worked with Yoo Ho-Jin for that show.

The Best Hit" is the first KBS2 drama series to air on Friday and Saturday evening since 2015 drama series "The Producers" and will be followed by "Strongest Deliveryman" in July, 2017.
